چکیده

Background and Aims: Sideritis species (Lamiaceae) which are quite widespread in the Mediterranean region represented by 46 53 taxa Turkey, often used as a antirheumatic, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial diuretic remedies. Methods: In this study, infusion (INF), essential oil (EO) methanolic extract (ME) of chemical compounds prepared from aerial parts albiflora Hub.-Mor. (endemic) were investigated. Results: The presence chlorogenic acid, verbascoside, forsythoside, apigenin glucoside, isoscutellarein derivatives methanol plant was determined LC-MS / MS analysis. addition, main constituents found germacrene D (23.5%), ß-caryophyllene (13.6%) caryophylene oxide (8.0%) GC FID simultaneously. Conclusion: oil, S. their compositions elucidated. It that compound composition is rich terms sesquiterpene group. Infusions some have traditionally been treatment many diseases. Accordingly, fact phenolic not studied before increases importance study. therapeutic effect shown to be related major compounds, correlation between vitro activity ethnobotanical use evaluated. effective contained thought support traditional uses plant.

Phenylethanoid glycosides from Phlomis integrifolia Hub.-Mor.

Two new phenylethanoid glycosides integrifoliosides A (2) and B (3), along with a known phenylethanoid glycoside alyssonoside (1) and a flavone glucoside chrysoeriol-7-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside (4) were isolated from the aerial parts of Phlomis integrifolia. The structures of the new compounds were identified as 3,4-dihydroxy-beta-phenylethoxy-O-beta-D-apiofuranosyl-(1 --> 4)-alpha-L-rhamnopyran...

Physocalycoside, a new phenylethanoid glycoside from Phlomis physocalyx Hub.-Mor.

A new phenylethanoid tetraglycoside, physocalycoside (2), was isolated from the aerial parts of Phlomis physocalyx. Its structure was identified as 3-hydroxy-4-methoxy-beta-phenylethoxy-O-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->2)-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->3)]-4-O-feruloyl-[beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->6)]-beta-D-glucopyranoside, on the basis of spectroscopic evidence. In addition, one known iridoid glu...

Geographical Impact on Essential Oil Composition of Endemic Kundmannia Anatolica Hub.-mor. (apiaceae)

BACKGROUND Kundmannia anatolica Hub.-Mor. is an endemic specie of Apiaceae diversified in Turkey. Several parts of the plant may contain essential oils in different quantity which can be influenced by environmental factors, mainly altitude. The aim of this study was to test whether there is any altitude effect on volatile chemical constituents of essential oil obtained from the fruits of K. ana...

CHEMICAL COMPOSITIONS OF LARGE CLUSTER IDPs

Introduction: We previously determined that ~10 µm interplanetary dust particles (IDPs) collected from the Earth's stratosphere are enriched in many moderately volatile elements by a factor of ~3 over the CI meteorites [1]. However, these IDP measurements provide no direct constraint on the bulk chemical composition of the parent body (or parent bodies) of the IDPs. Collisions are believed to b...
